Responsibilities
Analyze and design solutions with limited guidance
Lead requirements efforts for moderate to high complexity initiatives
Mentor and support junior business analysts
Perform peer reviews of requirements and design documents
Collaborate with other groups to exchange ideas and support cooperation
Contribute to business cases for IT projects
Analyze end-to-end business processes and information needs
Communicate IT processes to clients
Ensure compliance with SOX and process requirements
Define and document business requirements for moderate to complex projects
Evaluate alternatives to determine the most effective solutions
Negotiate requirements and deliverables with clients
Provide operational and maintenance support as needed
Review test plans and test results
Consult with clients to identify and satisfy business needs
Prepare timely responses to client inquiries
Review design and technical specifications for business alignment
Qualification
Required
Ability to analyze and design solutions independently with limited guidance
Ability to lead moderate to high complexity business requirements efforts
Ability to mentor less experienced business analysts
Ability to review requirements and design documents
Ability to prepare or review test plans and perform quality reviews
Ability to anticipate client concerns and provide professional communication
Ability to comply with SOX and standard process requirements
Ability to identify and influence IT solutions for business needs
Ability to understand current and future business environments and anticipate needs
4 years of experience analyzing, designing, and developing functional requirements, functional design, and UX/UI design
3 years of experience in business analysis
Experience with high complexity project participation
Demonstrated knowledge of testing, project management, software development, regulatory compliance, operations, or maintenance
Experience applying seasoned judgment to adapt techniques and provide credible recommendations
Experience supporting end-to-end business process analysis
Experience preparing business cases and consulting with clients on technology solutions
Experience reviewing design and technical specification documents
Experience participating in project estimates
Experience providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced employees
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and within team structures
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Understanding of business process concepts
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Working knowledge of UML
Experience with Oracle CC&B applications and data modeling
Experience with call center or back-office business environments
Understanding of database and schema architecture
