Director, Finance

This role involves developing financial strategies, overseeing reporting, and collaborating with senior leadership to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.

Responsibilities
Develop, refine, and execute the financial strategy of the Bank in alignment with overall organizational goals
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership
Collaborate with the CFO to ensure financial strategies comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Complete comprehensive budgets and forecasts for assigned business units in alignment with the long-term strategy of the Bank
Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and key performance indicators
Implement and maintain robust financial reporting systems to provide actionable insights to senior management
Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting
Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the financial performance of the Bank
Work closely with department heads to analyze performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall financial performance
Collaborate with risk management teams to assess and mitigate financial risks
Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends affecting financial risk, and ensure the Bank's financial strategies are adaptive and compliant
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
CPA or CFA certification is highly desirable
Proven experience (5+ years) in a finance role within the banking or financial services sector
In-depth knowledge of wealth management operations, financial regulations, and industry best practices
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
Preferred
MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
CPA or CFA certification is highly desirable
