The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end close activities.

Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process and review employee travel & expense reports, ensuring policy compliance
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
Perform monthly account reconciliations (bank, credit cards, accruals, prepaid expenses, etc.)
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with payroll preparation and coordination with external providers
Maintain accurate documentation and support audit and CPA requests
Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and organized
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency
Assist with ad hoc projects and analysis as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–4 years of accounting experience (corporate or public accounting experience a plus)
Understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with detailed data
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information
Preferred
Prior experience working in a SaaS environment is highly desired
