Perform all necessary front-end revenue cycle functions prior to service to ensure timely financial clearance for patient accounts
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or equivalent (GED) preferred
Two (2) or more years of equivalent work experience in a hospital, medical office/clinic, or insurance company required
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations
Preferred
Associate degree preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of insurance eligibility, financial clearance and insurance authorization
Prior experience with EPIC EMR preferred
