Staff Manager - Supply Chain
Cascade Corporation is a company within the construction equipment division, seeking a Staff Manager - Supply Chain to oversee the lifecycle of materials from procurement to distribution. This role involves planning material requirements, managing inventory, and leading a team to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

Responsibilities
Plan material needs based on production schedules and forecasts
Source, negotiate, and purchase raw materials, components, and supplies
Manage purchase orders and ensure suppliers meet delivery requirements
Lead the buyer/planner team in executing projects for continuous improvement and automation across cross-functional teams
Understand capacity internally and externally and assist in planning for production
Plan for every part (PFEP) responsibility from procurement through presentation to the production floor team
Oversee and maintain accurate inventory records to prevent shortages or overstocking
Optimize inventory levels to control costs and ensure materials are available for production
Conduct regular inventory audits and analyze usage, price, and quality data
Strategic inventory planning
Coordinate the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials
Ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently
Manage receiving processes to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
Negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery
Supervise buyer/planners and receiving team
Collaborate with production, sales, quality, engineering, and finance departments to align material flow with business needs
Lead / Support new product launches by working with engineering, production, procurement, and external suppliers to determine accurate costing and parts supply to support launches or product changes
Develop strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
Monitor market trends and competitor strategies that may affect the supply chain
Generate and present reports on material performance metrics
Train staff on ERP data entry standards and best practices, reducing errors and improving system utilization
Manage ERP data for materials, vendors, and inventory, ensuring accuracy and consistency across procurement, production, and finance modules
Reliable attendance is an essential function of an employee’s job

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in industrial engineering, operations management, supply chain, or a related technical degree
5+ years of experience in a buyer/planner or related procurement position within manufacturing
5+ years of experience working in an ERP system, that utilized an MRP toolset
5+ years of direct experience in a leadership role
