Metropolitan Family Services empowers families to learn, earn, heal, and thrive. They are currently seeking a part-time Mental Health Practitioner Intern to assist with clinical assessments, provide case management, and support community programs.

Communities

Responsibilities

Assists with comprehensive, in-depth assessments for a variety of clinical services

Assists with psycho-social assessments and intake as assigned

Assists with providing a full range of case management, counseling, advocacy educational and related services to CP4P

Learns and utilizes agency and community resources

Assesses community conditions affecting clients to identify resource gaps and problems

Recommends financial assistance for clients

Supports group services as indicated by program need

Support and attend "Light in the Night" events

Represents and interprets programs of agency in community

Complies with agency record-keeping expectations

Works effectively with diverse staff and service population

Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualification

Master's Degree in Social WorkCounselingCase ManagementPsycho-social AssessmentsAdvocacyCommunity ResourcesDiversity Awareness

Required

Enrolled in a Master's Degree, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, from an accredited college or university required
