Robert Half is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a 12-month remote contract. The role involves overseeing accounting operations, managing media-related financial processes, and collaborating with various teams to support financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close

Manage pass-through accounting for media buys and advertising campaigns using platforms such as Strata or Mediaocean

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for advertising departments

Ensure timely and accurate billing, revenue recognition, and expense allocation

Optimize workflows in NetSuite to support business growth and compliance

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, sales, and account management

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant within the advertising/media industry

Proficiency with NetSuite (setup, reporting, and process automation)

Direct experience with pass-through accounting using Strata, Mediaocean, or similar media finance systems

Strong understanding of advertising billing and revenue processes

Advanced Excel skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred

Experience with financial systems integrations a plus
