Channel Sales Manager - Microsoft & AI Alliances
Growth Acceleration Partners is seeking a dynamic and experienced Channel Sales Manager to lead strategic partnerships, primarily focusing on their relationship with Microsoft. The role involves driving revenue growth through the Microsoft ecosystem and developing the partner ecosystem for the Velocity AI business unit.

Responsibilities
Microsoft Alliance Management: Develop and manage the end-to-end partnership strategy with Microsoft. This includes setting strategic goals, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and creating joint business plans that drive mutual growth through co-selling and the Azure Marketplace
Revenue and Pipeline Generation: Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue across all assigned alliances. Proactively manage a pipeline of co-sell opportunities and meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
Relationship Building: Cultivate deep, trusted relationships across the Microsoft organization, from field-level Account Executives to senior partnership leaders. Be the primary evangelist for GAP within their ecosystem
AI Partner Ecosystem Development: Identify, recruit, and manage a portfolio of strategic partners for our Velocity AI business unit. This includes technology partners (ISVs), Systems Integrators (SIs), and specialized AI consulting firms that can accelerate customer adoption
Sales Enablement: Equip all channel partners (both Microsoft and Velocity AI partners) with the knowledge and tools they need to effectively position and sell our solutions. This includes delivering training, creating battle cards, and developing joint value propositions
Go-to-Market Execution: Collaborate with our marketing team to create and execute joint marketing campaigns, webinars, and events that generate qualified leads across the partner ecosystem
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track all channel activity in our CRM, provide regular pipeline forecasts, and report on the health and success of your partnerships to executive leadership
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in channel sales, alliance management, or partner business development within a B2B SaaS or technology company
A minimum of 3 years of direct experience managing a strategic partnership with Microsoft
Strong working knowledge of their organization, sales processes, and key programs (e.g., co-sell programs, Azure Marketplace, Partner Center)
Demonstrable history of exceeding revenue targets and driving growth through channel partnerships
Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills
Natural ability to build rapport and trust with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
Ability to see the big picture and translate broad strategies into a tactical plan that delivers results
Proficient with modern sales tools, especially CRM software (e.g., Hubspot)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Preferred
Pre-existing relationships within the Microsoft sales and partner organizations
Experience working with Global System Integrators (GSIs) or boutique AI consulting firms
A technical background or a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and AI services
