Logistics Specialist III
DPP is seeking a Logistics Specialist for an opportunity in Parker, Colorado. The role involves preparing logistics documentation, coordinating shipping logistics, and ensuring compliance with regulations regarding logistics materials and parts.

Responsibilities
Prepare logistics documentation to assist in establishing the pipeline for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals needed are available to be deployed and stocked
Responsible for routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics, maintaining records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals, and tracking logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities
Ensure shipping activities adhere to state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements
Qualification
Required
Active Secret US security clearance
Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Understanding and experience with the practical application of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques
Progressive experience with inventory databases
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience
A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Preferred
Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
HazMat Training/Certification
Ability to operate a Forklift
Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS
Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record
Understanding of Shelf-Life Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
