Responsibilities

Leadership of electrical engineering team, including project assignments, day-to-day task guidance, mentoring, and performing annual performance reviews
Act as senior technical resource in the review and evaluation of RF and/or digital designs
Serve as individual technical contributor as required to assist with technical issue and new product concepts
Create and refine the long-term technology road map for Lucix products
Lead efforts in staffing and maintaining the necessary team: track current and upcoming engineering resource utilization, and secure extra personnel (contract or full-time) as needed
Lead, enforce, and continually refine Lucix internal processes for product development
Chair design review meetings
Act as a key technical resource for Lucix electrical designs: assess and update the company’s technology road map, identify key new technical areas for the company to develop, and ensure that the company attracts and retains top-level talent in these areas
As a member of the Lucix leadership team, lead by example in maintaining a strong company culture to ensure the company’s sustained leadership position within the industry
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field
5+ years professional experience in the design and development of RF & Microwave hardware and/or digital hardware for space applications
2+ years experience in a leadership role
Demonstrated expertise in a process-based organization using an ISO9000, AS9100, or similar quality system
Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills
Strong leadership traits: ability to understand and collaborate effectively with technical peers, ability to direct the efforts of others, high emotional intelligence with the ability to provide both positive and corrective feedback in a constructive fashion
Strong technical reviewer and mentor: able to evaluate team member's designs and provide helpful inputs in a manner that are suggestions but allow the team member to retain full design ownership
Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred

Expertise across RF, Digital, and Space applications
5+ years in a leadership role, with demonstrated growth
Experience with FPGA-based designs
Demonstrated success with presenting new products and concepts to potential customers and/or industry conferences
