Head of Strategic Growth Initiatives

Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and execute special projects aimed at enhancing financial performance and structural efficiencies within our top Customers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for incremental distribution expansion and implement strategies to capitalize on these opportunities
Coach and train Barr Sales team on how to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at our top retailers, to enable delivering the key projects that this position is responsible for
Conduct thorough financial analyses to assess the viability and potential impact of proposed projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and ROI expectations
Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of special projects, ensuring timely delivery and updates to manager, budget adherence, and achievement of defined goals
Work closely with internal departments, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to ensure cohesive strategy implementation and project alignment
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and identify new opportunities
Additional Special Projects as assigned by manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years in strategic account management, business development, or a related role, with a proven track record of managing complex projects and partnerships
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build credibility, influence cross-functional teams, and drive alignment across internal and external stakeholders
Highly organized with strong follow-through; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations, make data-driven decisions, and respond quickly to emerging challenges or opportunities
Proven negotiation expertise and a track record of cultivating productive, long-term business relationships across all levels of an organization
Experienced in leading cross-functional initiatives and managing third-party representatives or agency partners to achieve shared objectives
Preferred
Experience with Home Depot or similar large retailers is highly desirable
