Responsibilities
Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, disassemble, and install manufacturing equipment and systems to support lean manufacturing operations
Assist in the development and continuous improvement of maintenance methods and procedures
Participate in equipment-related projects, including upgrades and process improvements to minimize downtime
Support the maintenance team in daily routine and preventative maintenance of department equipment and tools. Involvement with a variety of maintenance related tasks
Support safety inspections and ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on equipment-related quality and operational issues
Complete and present a project related to opportunities within the maintenance department
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a technical diploma, or an associate or bachelor's degree, in maintenance or a related field
Ideal candidates will have manufacturing and maintenance related experience as well as a sufficient background and technical knowledge to assume responsibilities
Ability to work on assignments that are moderately complex where judgement is required in evaluating information, resolving problems and making recommendations
Basic knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment, systems, and maintenance procedures
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Work in a safe manner observing all company procedures regarding environmental, health, and safety
