Responsibilities
Kafka expert who is well versed in Kafka broker and other components
Experience in Confluent platform 7.x is a big plus
Experience building clusters using ci/cd tools
Automation of repetitive tasks like topic creation, connector creation, rbac provisioning
Experience with Schema registry and KSQL
Experience with Ansible, cp-ansible
Experience in setting up DR / Active-Active clusters
Experience with Cluster linking and Schema linking
Able to troubleshoot producer and consumer issues and provides suggestions to developers on the tuning parameters
Experience with IBM MQ , IBM IIB, MIM, Stonebranch
Experience setting up various connectors : MQ, Jdbc, Splunk, BQ, Blob, etc
Able to support high priority production issues and bring it closure and provide RCA & fix
Part of on-call ROTA and support production INC's and perform on-call checks
Create ticket with vendors and work with them to resolve issues
Qualification
