Responsibilities
Lead design and delivery of airport civil engineering projects (runways, taxiways, aprons, grading, drainage, access roads)
Serve as Engineer of Record on aviation infrastructure projects
Review and oversee construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
Manage project scope, schedule, and budget
Ensure compliance with FAA, TxDOT, and local regulations
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Conduct site visits and provide construction administration support
Mentor and support junior engineers, EITs, and CAD staff
Support business development efforts such as proposals and interviews
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license
7 years of civil engineering experience
Experience with FAA and TxDOT Aviation standards
Familiarity with FAA AIP funding
Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
