Responsibilities

Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)

Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers to successfully obtain a commitment for payment and/or reinstatement of accounts, including offering suggestions as to how they can meet their obligations, propose alternative payment methods, and establish payment procedures

Review accounts for special assistance (loan modifications, extensions, etc.) and gather the necessary information and/or documents to provide assistance

Initiate and review repossession efforts to recover collateral

Accurately and professionally document account information and collection activities

Conduct investigative activities to determine the whereabouts of customers through database searches and system records (Skip-Tracing)

Perform outbound calls and receive inbound calls through an auto-dialing system or manual telephone system

Maintain satisfactory work efforts on an assigned queue and meet/exceed daily and monthly goals
