Responsibilities

Unleash your inner inventor! Design new products and give existing ones a fabulous makeover to meet customer needs and specifications. It's like extreme makeover: product edition!
Be the go-to guru for all things technical. Provide support to internal departments and select customers, because knowledge is power, and you're practically a superhero!
Channel your inner detective to review drawings and documentation. Make sure they're up to snuff with project specs and company policies. No detail escapes your eagle eyes!
Become the master of change with Engineering Change Release Notifications (ECN's). It's like being a DJ, but for engineering – you're dropping the hottest updates!
Craft and update product design guidelines, customer standards, and analytical reports. Think of it as writing the rulebook for awesome engineering!
Put on your thinking cap and brainstorm solutions to product-related problems. Present your eureka moments to the Engineering Manager – you're basically the Sherlock Holmes of engineering!
Be a safety superstar! Participate in all of Smiths Interconnect's EHS programs, policies, procedures, and training requirements. Safety first, then engineering brilliance!
Embrace the element of surprise with other duties as assigned. It's like a box of chocolates – you never know what you're gonna get!
Master the art of schedule Tetris. Flexibility is your middle name!
Pack your bags for adventure! Up to 20% travel may be required. It's like being James Bond, but with more engineering and fewer explosions (hopefully)
