Responsibilities

Quick response to customer requests. emergency services and 24x7 "On Call" support

Scheduling services calls with customers

Equipment on-site commissioning, installation and qualification, testing, maintenance, trouble shooting and calibration services

Work under strict occupational safety and health standards (OSHA, NPFA)

Assist maintaining organization of materials, customer spare/repair parts, equipment builds

Identifying tools and resources necessary for completion of tasks

Training customers in the operation and maintenance of equipment

Telephone, email and in-person technical support

Create clear, concise, and complete commissioning procedures & troubleshooting documentation

Writing/editing templates, operating procedures and manuals

Coordinate with cross-functional work teams such as field applications, support and services, product management, manufacturing and marketing or sales

Required

Associate degree in an electro-mechanical, electrical or electronic discipline or equivalent military training

5+ years' experience in field service or similar position

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and assembly drawings

Experience with factory automation, or electronics devices production

Experience in programming PLC's and HMI's

Must have a valid passport and driver's license

Must be able to pass background check and drug test

Must be able to pass customer's site requirements

Preferred

Has very strong technical knowledge of electrical circuitry, mechanical and electronics and factory automation industrial tools, machinery or equipment

Has excellent troubleshooting skills

Has proven situations/issues/projects where the candidate showed self-sufficiency and problem-solving skills

Has excellent customer service skills, focus on the customer

Is well organized, with a keen attention to detail

Can work alone and without supervision
