SPG Wholesale LLC is a rapidly growing property and casualty insurance wholesaler based in Eagle Rock, CA. They are seeking a Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistant to provide customer service and support to the underwriting team, assisting with the processing of coverage placements and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

Bind/invoice placement of coverage, rate and process endorsements with invoicing, audits, and other documents according to established departmental procedures with accuracy, efficiency, and meeting compliance standards
Handle cancellation notices, cancellation endorsements and rescission documents
Act as liaison between clients and the underwriter to obtain missing information, status of quote/bind, and/or other requests for information
State SL compliance documentation handling
Other duties as assigned

Required

High School graduate required; College courses preferred
Previous work experience in the fields of insurance underwriting, customer service, with a successful track record of at least 5 years or more
Positive attitude and enjoy helping others through frequent phone and email communication
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High level of adaptability to meet the needs of various situations
Strong organization skills, with a high level of detail orientation
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and various rating portals
