Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement areas
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Maintain all accounting systems and manage the general ledger
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare journal entries, maintain and reconcile ledger accounts, and manage records of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations
Prepare and file tax returns and statutory filings
Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide tax-related advice
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Coordinate internal and external audits
Perform additional tasks as required to support financial health and operational efficiency, including cash flow management, budgeting, team leadership, system improvements, and stakeholder communication
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired
5+ years of related experience
Preferred
CPA or Aspiring CPA
