Responsibilities
Serve as a key Finance partner working directly with management and other internal stakeholders to influence business decisions through effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis and modeling, and presentation of recommended actions and alternatives
Contribute to business decisions by providing insightful analysis and methodical consideration for the end-to-end impact to systems, financial controls and ongoing support requirements
Manage the annual financial planning and quarterly budgeting exercises by providing accurate, complete, and timely forecasts
Drive the core financial processes for the vendor relationship including Annual Operating Plans, long range Strategic Plan and Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews - this includes coordination with stakeholders in a number of markets globally
Perform financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling using a broad range of tools including Excel
Complete complex business modeling and analysis to drive revenue growth, identify operating improvements, deep dive on cost structures and analyze business opportunities/investments (ROI/NPV)
Perform root cause analysis and uncover core issues using data to improve and create new measures for financial performance
Facilitate financial review meetings and Business reviews with cross functional teams and business leaders to ensure effective finance, controllership, and cost management, with data analysis and follow through on actionable items
Identify opportunities and drive automation in existing manual processes, working with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key data is timely, accurate, and automated
Develop, recommend, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in improving its profitability and managing financial and compliance risks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Preferred
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of SQL/ETL
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
