Understand Steps of Service

Checks ID’s to determine guest’s legal age and upholds all state and local liquor laws (if applicable)

Rings orders into POS system and communicates additional information to bartenders and cooks

Ensure proper cash, credit card, and gift card processing procedures

Meets company time standards for greeting guests, getting drink/food orders and processing payments

Ensures all food and drinks are within company standards of quality and freshness

Observes and responds to guests

Handles guest comments in a professional manner and gets management when necessary

Cleans as you go, clears plates and glasses throughout the meal (pre-bus)

Follows food safety and general sanitation

Has a working knowledge of the food menu

Has a working knowledge of all beverages offered

Refills beverages when necessary

Completes all daily, opening and closing side work. Gets checked out by management before leaving the building

Sets up for events by putting out chairs, tables, stage, tablecloths, bars, and place settings, etc.; arranging table placement and setting up a buffet

Tears down by storing equipment and materials neatly

Performs all cleaning tasks including vacuuming, emptying trash, etc

Provides friendly and competent customer service

Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled

Assists with other duties, as assigned
