Responsibilities

Develop system design, test, and certification plans for a variety of air-to-air weapons
Execute integration and flight-test activities, analyzing results and driving corrective actions
Assess design changes, identify safety risks, and provide technical mitigation strategies
Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and test reports
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure schedule adherence

Required

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access
The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start
Collaborative, detail-oriented engineer with a proven track record in weapons integration and test
Analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to navigate complex technical environments
Ability to turn challenging requirements into reliable, mission-critical solutions
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact setting

Preferred

Air-to-Air Weapons Experience
Excellent oral & written communication skills
Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and driving collaboration with cross-functional teams
Experience working in large-scale, high-visibility programs and collaborating with senior stakeholders
Knowledge of aircraft systems, avionics, and electronics
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
Experience with Project Management methodologies
Experience managing prioritize tasks, and driving program execution
Experience working with weapon assets
Experience supporting Flight Test
Experience supporting aircraft and mission system integration test, including the development of testing plans
Experience with Interface Control Documents (ICD) development
Experience developing BOE's
Experience developing Weapons CONOPS
Understanding of FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, and Root Cause Corrective Action
Ability to travel domestic and international
