The role involves coordinating staffing and scheduling, managing information, and delivering excellent customer service to ensure effective communication and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Staffing/ Scheduling: Coordinates overall staffing for the Patient Care Services Department on a 24-hour basis. Responsible for development of some schedules

Information Administration: Manages information, hard copy and electronically, for staffing/scheduling purposes. Ensures appropriate confidentiality of information is maintained

Customer Service: Provides service excellence to customers through office reception practices, communication management practices, professionally managing customer needs and concerns, anticipating and responding to customer requests or making active referral to the decision-maker who can respond to the customer’s request

Communication: Ensures communication is organized and disseminated to recipients. Responds to telephonic, electronic and hard copy communications
