Responsibilities

Make independent technical and business decisions that have significant impact on customer satisfaction, operational performance, and long-term account health. Provide strategic insight and recommendations to internal leadership regarding customer trends, risks, product needs, and organizational priorities
Lead cross-functional initiatives requiring collaboration across Product, Operations, Finance, Commercial, and other internal teams. Drive alignment, ensure clear ownership, and coordinate execution of actions supporting customer success, operational excellence, and strategic growth
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex or high-visibility issues within assigned customer accounts. Apply expert judgment to assess risk, determine root cause, coordinate internal resources, and develop proactive solutions that support rapid resolution and protect the customer relationship
Develop and implement tools, dashboards, templates, and analytical models that provide visibility into customer health, operational performance, and strategic outcomes. Leverage insights to drive data-informed decision-making, identify trends, and recommend improvements
Mentor and support colleagues by sharing best practices, guiding resolution of complex account challenges, and contributing to team capability development. Model effective communication, strategic thinking, and customer management approaches
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within their customer portfolio to enable a positive customer experience
Partner with customers to identify, develop and communicate ROI, throughout the customer lifecycle
Support Sales by identifying opportunities surfaced through strategic account insights. Provide actionable customer feedback that informs tactical product and service improvements, supplementing broader strategic recommendations. Participate, or lead, operational improvement efforts in alignment with broader enterprise initiatives led through the strategic partnership team. Develop customer success strategy for strategic and large enterprise accounts based on unique needs of the customer
Manage portfolio-wide account governance by coordinating recurring business reviews, tracking progress against defined goals, and ensuring cross-functional alignment. Proactively identify risks and opportunities and drive ownership of actions that support customer satisfaction, strategic growth, operational excellence, and long-term retention

Required

12+ years' experience in a health-related field, life sciences, clinical research, IRB and/or tech services

Preferred

Bachelor's degree relevant field preferred
Equivalent relevant work experience will be considered
Recognized subject matter expertise in customer lifecycle strategy, enterprise operations, or clinical research systems
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with enterprise wide impact
Account leadership, Customer success and/or Program/Project Management experience preferred
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office products
Demonstrable strong leadership acumen and managerial proficiency
Demonstrate proactive and strategic thinking
Knowledge of clinical research lifecycle and how sites, CROs and Sponsors interact
Strong executive presence and presentation skills
Ability to influence separate teams to achieve common goals
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Ability to facilitate group discussion
Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
Ability to work independently; planning, organizing, scheduling, and completing work within deadlines
Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities
Ability to adapt to changes in process and technology
Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
