CORE is looking for a 3-D design professional to join their Virtual Construction team. The BIM/MEP Manager will provide design-assist services, including 3-D modeling and coordination, mechanical system clash detection, and design options studies on large-scale commercial construction projects throughout California.

Responsibilities

Provide design-assist services, including 3-D modeling and coordination, mechanical system clash detection, design options studies and more on multiple large-scale commercial construction projects
Work on multiple preconstruction and construction phase projects and collaborate with Preconstruction team members and the Operations team

Required

Minimum of five years of experience as part of a preconstruction or construction operations team
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in design & construction technology: Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Lumion, Microsoft Office and Procore
Experience with CMAR and/or Design/Build delivery methods
Must work well in a team environment and be committed to client service
Strong attention to detail
Must be willing to travel within the state of California
Ability to interact as part of a multi-talented team and to learn new technology
A valid driver's license
This is an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act and employee is not eligible for overtime compensation

Preferred

Professional Degree in architecture, construction management or a related field (construction tech, interior design, etc)
