Founding Account Executive
Terial is disrupting the global construction industry with AI-powered operating software for commercial roofers and contractors. The Founding Account Executive will play a crucial role in accelerating growth and expanding Terial's presence in the commercial roofing industry by owning the sales cycle and building strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition: Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating and closing deals
Market Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to establish Terial as the go-to solution for commercial contractors
Customer-Centric Selling: Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and positioning Terial’s value effectively
Pipeline Development: Collaborate with the team to create and refine outbound and inbound lead generation strategies
Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the customer, providing critical feedback to influence product development and roadmap decisions
Team Building: Lay the groundwork for scaling the sales team, including designing sales processes and mentoring future hires
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
Experience selling to SMB or mid-market customers; familiarity with construction and proptech is a strong plus but not required
An entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable navigating ambiguity and wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced startup environment
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally
A data-driven approach to sales, with proficiency in CRM tools and a focus on continuous improvement
Willingness to travel (upwards of 20% of the time) to conferences, seminars and in-person events with prospects
Passion for learning and excitement about building solutions for an industry ready for transformation
