Responsibilities
Performs field inspection and evaluation of structures under the direction of a higher-level engineer
Performs testing of materials and incorporates results into reports under the direction of a higher-level engineer
Performs complex engineering computations involving conventional engineering practices under the direction of a higher-level engineer
Prepares comprehensive engineering documents including inspection reports, design plans, and specifications under the direction of a higher-level engineer
Actively participates in internal project meetings and works to actively resolve project issues
Actively promotes a safe work culture
Qualification
Required
Technical knowledge, experience, and capabilities in area of practice
Proficiency in computer-assisted engineering and office software and equipment
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in the English language
Ability to define problems, collect/interpret data, evaluate facts, and draw valid conclusions
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and effectively
Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in civil, structural or ocean engineering from an accredited four-year university
0-4 years of engineering experience
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or the ability to obtain within 6 months
ADCI Commercial Diver or the ability to obtain within 12 months
Valid US Driver's License
