Chapel Hill Tire is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Part-Time Recruiter to help attract and engage great talent. This role involves proactively sourcing candidates, building relationships, and representing the company at recruiting events.

Responsibilities

Proactively source and engage candidates, including passive talent not actively seeking new roles

Build and maintain strong candidate relationships for current and future openings

Conduct outreach via phone, email, and recruiting platforms

Represent Chapel Hill Tire at in-person recruiting events

Partner with internal teams to understand hiring needs and workforce trends

Maintain organized and accurate candidate records

Assist with onboarding paperwork and process

Required

At least 2 years of recruiting experience

Strong understanding of the local labor market and hiring trends

Proven success with passive recruiting, including cold outreach, strong communication, and relationship building

High school diploma required

Ability to work 15-25 hours per week

Local to the Chapel Hill / RDU area with the ability to attend in-person training, meetings, and recruiting events

Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft-based applications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Highly organized, self-motivated, curious, and able to work independently

Dependability - Requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations
