Responsibilities
Lead media relations across broadcast, print, digital, and podcasts, securing meaningful, top-tier coverage
Develop creative angles and pitch strategies that break through and position clients as category leaders
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and podcast hosts across key verticals
Draft pitches, press releases, op-eds, and media materials with clarity, voice, and impact
Identify timely news hooks, trends, and cultural moments to drive consistent coverage
Secure features, expert commentary, interviews, profiles, product placements, and gift guide inclusions
Collaborate internally to develop smart, unexpected ideas to support launches, campaigns, events, desksides, and activations
Manage and mentor junior team members to develop their growth
Serve as a trusted strategic partner to clients, providing clear, confident guidance on media strategy and expectations
Qualification
Required
5-7+ years of PR experience (agency) with a strong focus on media relations
Deep understanding of today's media ecosystem and evolving platforms to know how to break through
Thoughtful, resourceful, and tenacious, who proactively creates opportunities
Creative, strategic thinker with sharp storytelling instincts and an ability to craft fresh, relevant, and newsworthy angles
Strong media relationships with a proven track record of results
Organized and able to manage multiple projects with clarity and attention to detail
Confident and collaborative with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset
Passionate about wellness, culture, consumer brands, and storytelling
Comfortable with influencers, digital strategy, and how PR integrates with social media and affiliate/commerce ecosystems
