The Quality Assurance Specialist/Inspector will work closely with quality assurance professionals to support administrative, compliance, and operational tasks, ensuring certification packages are accurate and maintaining quality records.

Responsibilities
Receive Certification Packages from Suppliers:
Ensure certification packages are accurate and complete
Ability to communicate and question Suppliers regarding purchase requirements and ensure compliance
Update Systems and Databases:
Ensure systems are maintained and kept up to date on certification packages received
Conduct compliance system audits to identify and address gaps
Instruct employees regarding Quality procedures and requirements when working with material compliance, acceptance and production
Develop and maintain records related to material compliance
Performs other related duties as assigned, such as production support/inspection of product
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Excellent problem-solving ability
Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, documenting processes, and presenting findings
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain
Ability to collaborate with suppliers and customers
Familiarity with document control processes and maintaining quality records
Strong organizational skills and the ability to find, understand, and organize documents
Excellent attention to detail to ensure compliance
4-year bachelor's degree
Education may be waived based on experience with 2-year associate degree
Must be a U.S. Persons
Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information
