Energy Services Analyst

Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. is seeking an Energy Services Analyst to prioritize safety while reviewing growth projects and customer agreements. Responsibilities

Provides support and guidance to the Energy Services Representatives and Utility Project Planners on main extension tariffs to ensure consistent implementation of main extension tariffs as required assists field operations with development and communication of energy information for customers. within their service territory
Provides cost comparison tools, customer analytics and studies, feasibility and maximum allowable investment tools, growth project contract templates, rate comparisons and load estimating support for the Business Development and Field Operations departments
Reviews growth line extension projects and related documentation for consistency and compliance with company extension tariffs, procedures, practices, guidelines and directives and related governmental requirements and ensures feasibility tools and contract templates are properly utilized
Updates feasibility tools and contract templates with improvements and edits needed due to changing tariff, policies, procedures, and practices
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualification

EnergyEngineering conceptsPipeline operations experienceConstruction management experienceCertified Energy ManagerProject management experience

Required

Must possess a working knowledge of energy and engineering concepts and principles and construction practices at a level normally acquired through the completion of a four-year degree in engineering or business administration
Five years' experience working in pipeline operations, construction management, and/or utility service marketing or regulatory affairs
Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States - no sponsorships considered
Required to maintain a valid driver's license
Requires travel: Moderate (10%-25%)

Preferred

Certified Energy Manager (CEM or BEP) Certification
Project management experience
