LS ELECTRIC America, Inc. is seeking a Junior Level Application Engineer to provide technical and troubleshooting support for their products and applications. The role involves serving as a primary technical resource for sales channel personnel and key customer accounts, assisting with product selection, and delivering support through various communication channels.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and troubleshooting support for products and applications to sales channel personnel and key accounts

Deliver technical support via phone and email

Serve as one of the primary technical resources for all product and application inquiries

Assist with product selection, cross-referencing, and application guidance

Provide feedback on factory documentation to support continuous improvement efforts

Develop knowledge base articles, including start-up procedures for new products

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new products and applications through self-study and hands-on testing of demo units

Support products including VFDs, HMIs, and other electrical and industrial automation products

Assist in evaluating and repairing warranty cases

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience

1–2 years of electrical-related experience or experience with industrial automation products

Experience with PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, servos, control networks, motion control, and other industrial automation applications (e.g., contactors, circuit breakers, MMS, etc.) is a plus

Technical writing skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Strong customer service and phone support skills

Professional, patient, positive, and confident communication style

Strong organizational skills, including document management, demo equipment, workspace organization, and time management
