Responsibilities

Provides technical support to customers and internal staff via phone, email, and remote support based on assigned trouble tickets and project tickets

Creates, Updates, and Maintains excellent documentation and notes within the PSA tool and other appropriate systems to ensure efficient access to time critical information and changes

Works with Engineers, Technical Account Managers, and Management with proactive suggestions to changing technology or updates

Assists with training internal staff through documentation of new technologies and policies

Partners with customers to help ensure they environments have strong security postures and have a roadmap for future considerations

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree and/or 7+ years of related experience

Proven experience in planning, deploying and supporting all the following: Server applications, operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac, etc.) and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)

Network protocols and IP scheme design

Infrastructure devices and appliances: Firewalls, Routers, switches, and security
