Sales Manager (SRS) – Salt Lake City, UT

Stadler offers a wide range of international career opportunities, and they are looking for a Sales Manager to play a critical role in the sales achievements of Stadler Rail Service for various service projects in the North American market. The Sales Manager will lead interdisciplinary teams to drive the successful sale of long-term maintenance contracts and modernization projects for Stadler's rail vehicles across North America.

Responsibilities

Manage service sales projects across multiple locations within North America
Offer proactive customer service, relationship management, and competition analysis
Collaborate with the vehicle sales team to align service tenders with vehicle purchase agreements and long-term maintenance needs
Oversee the preparation of competitive customer proposals providing a winning strategy for respective bids
Support contractual risk assessments
Partner with external service providers, such as consultants and legal advisors, to support sales objectives
Prepare for and lead sales meetings with senior management
Foster collaboration across departments to drive project success

Required

Proven experience in sales or business development within the rail, transportation, or transit service industries
Familiarity with service tenders, contract negotiations, and risk management in rail industry maintenance solutions
Experience with maintenance concepts for rail fleets or similar transportation systems
Strong knowledge of business administration and commercial principles
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively
Must be fluent in English; both verbal and written
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
