Responsibilities
Familiar with different HVAC system types and their applications
HVAC systems selection, sizing, and design (ductwork and piping)
Experienced with Mechanical Codes and Energy Efficiency Standards
Engineering experience with energy efficiency, developing or supporting performance-based projects or energy services
Perform Heating, Cooling Load Calculations and Title 24 Compliance calculations using Energy-Pro and eQuest programs
Assist with developing ability to conduct job site surveys and help to analyze solutions and installation sequencing
Other duties may include copying/printing/scanning, assembly of equipment submittal packages, assistance in preparing work scope and other tasks as assigned
Ability to manage multiple deadlines
Ability to write technical proposals and reports
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
1+ years' experience in HVAC Design
Familiar with different HVAC system types and their applications
HVAC systems selection, sizing, and design (ductwork and piping)
Experienced with Mechanical Codes and Energy Efficiency Standards
Engineering experience with energy efficiency, developing or supporting performance-based projects or energy services

Computer skills using MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Preferred
CEM, EIT highly preferred
Knowledge of OSHPD codes are a plus
Knowledge of AutoCAD MEP or Revit is a plus
