Director of Sales, Marketing & Event
Hotel Sorrento, Seattle’s most established boutique hotel, has been providing genuine hospitality for over 117 years. They are seeking a full-time Director of Sales, Marketing & Events to lead initiatives that drive sales and manage client relationships, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and achieving revenue targets.
Responsibilities
Lead sales marketing and event sales initiatives
Book over $1M in group room and event sales
Oversee daily sales operations
Develop and execute marketing strategies
Manage relationships with clients
Drive business growth
Lead, support, train, and mentor the sales team
Analyze market trends
Ensure exceptional guest relations to achieve revenue targets and consistent brand representation
Qualification
Required
Sales expertise, including proven experience in sales, special event sales and servicing, strategies and operations
Strong background in Customer Service, building client relationships, and ensuring satisfaction
Proficiency in leading and managing teams to achieve sales, catering and operational goals
Experience in Business Development and identifying opportunities for growth
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to analyze market data and adjust strategies accordingly
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality and or Business Administration
Experience in the hotel and catering sales and service
Preferred
Desire to grow career to be Hotel General Manager a plus
