They are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to perform quality assurance duties, including parts inspection and process control verification, while also assisting the Production Team with inspection tasks and continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities
Inspects manufactured, purchased and returned parts against drawings and other specifications
Arranges first article inspections, first piece inspection and other special inspections
Monitors and audits operator inspection logs, statistical process control records, check lists etc
Manages the upkeep and calibration of measuring equipment such as calipers and torques
Performs receiving inspection on a special event basis
Records inspection results in reports, logs, ERP, gage control software, supplier rejection forms etc
Performs process and business audits and document audit outcomes
Provides quality assurance training for the Production Team
Assists with special inspection tasks
Take a proactive approach to quality and prevent defect initiation
Willingness to help production in achieving product quality goals
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Two (2) year college degree in a technical curriculum preferred
Minimum of three (3) years of quality assurance related experience
Broad working knowledge of statistical process control
Intermediate Microsoft Office computer software experience
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
Advanced knowledge and use of measuring devices
