Transaction Management Consultant

Responsibilities

Prepare, recommend, and implement transaction strategies for acquiring and disposing of properties
Develop real estate plans with an understanding of the client's strategic goals
Collect resources to complete lease renewals, new site acquisitions, and disposition of surplus space through subleasing
Act as landlord/seller agent and tenant/buyer agent. Review business terms and conditions for a wide variety of products
Coordinate the communication of sales through a field broker. Negotiate leases, amendments, and track expirations
Secure new properties to meet clients’ requirements and timelines
Work with internal and external teams to ensure integration between the service lines. Track all transaction activity and prepare commissions, forecasts, vouchers, and accounts
Collaborate on new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals
Review requests for proposals, comparison packages, letters of intent, and brokers’ opinions of value
Present book and cash flow projections, Net Present Value, and Internal Rate of Return to enable clients to make more informed outcomes
Mentor team members and share knowledge of own job field and broad knowledge of several job subject areas within the function
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement

Required

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
Desire to take a new point of view on existing solutions
Organizational skills with an inquisitive approach
Strong math skills. Ability to calculate figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered
