Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances within the tech and media environment
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to site protocols
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing directions and responding to general inquiries while upholding site-specific access control procedures
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
A guard card or license is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
CPR certification is preferred
