Responsibilities
Provide proactive leadership and engineering solutions by developing and implementing business development strategies to drive local growth that is in partnership and alignment with strategic goals
Provide professional services for water/wastewater engineering projects to include planning, study, design, and construction administration on projects related to water/wastewater treatment
Manage performance of assigned project team members including Project Engineers, Junior Engineers, and Technicians
Maintain existing client relationships and develop relationships with prospective/new clients
Identify, evaluate, pursue, and manage project opportunities
Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work
Maintain budgets and schedules of project assignments
Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months
Experience in water treatment process design
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development
Ability to work remotely and manage projects, clients, and project team members

Preferred
Master's degree in civil engineering or related field
8+ years water or wastewater consulting experience in Utah
Prior project management experience
Proven client relationships and an interest in business development
Knowledge of Utah design standards and permitting
Knowledge of Utah funding programs
