Responsibilities
Serve as the Single Threaded Leader for operational growth and performance initiatives
Remove bottlenecks and accelerate the expansion of operational capacity
Evaluate performance objectives and metrics across the network to proactively identify process improvement opportunities
Identify key risks across the operation; build and execute a prioritized roadmap of mitigation and contingency plans
Own cost reduction initiatives for sustaining processes
Influence overall terminal strategy and stakeholders beyond your direct scope
Domestic and international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in industrial or mechanical engineering
In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline followed by 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation in industrial or mechanical engineering
3 years of experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems including robotics and high-speed manufacturing
3 years of experience with process design based on Lean Principles
3 years of experience in system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analyses, statistical analyses, reliability analyses, and decision making
3 years of experience in management of engineering design projects
3 years of experience using quantitative and qualitative data to drive improvements
