Responsibilities
Validate installed structural quantities against progress claims to ensure accuracy
Maintain detailed logs of installed steel, concrete, and structural elements for reporting, billing, and earned value measurement
Identify, investigate, and document variances between reported and actual quantities
Work closely with field supervision and project controls teams to deliver precise weekly structural quantity reporting
Promote safe field practices and ensure compliance with company and site safety standards
Provide guidance on structural quantity surveying systems, processes, and tools, supporting colleagues and troubleshooting as needed
Prepare clear reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders
Qualification
Required
A university degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience
Typically 7+ years of experience in industrial construction, field supervision, or project controls
Strong hands-on knowledge of structural steel, concrete, and foundations in the field
Proven ability to work effectively in the field while applying analytical and reporting skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams
A solid understanding of structural field systems, processes, and tools, with the ability to coach and troubleshoot as needed
Preferred
Experience supervising or leading within your discipline is beneficial
