They are seeking a UX Design Lead to establish the company's first UX function, guiding the design of their platform to improve user experience for analysts working with complex threat intelligence data.

Responsibilities

Own and establish Team Cymru’s first UX function, including design standards, best practices, and scalable design systems

Influence product roadmap decisions by partnering with leadership to define user-centric solutions

Translate business goals and technical complexity into a cohesive product experience vision

Lead the full UX process from discovery to wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and final UI assets

Design dashboards and workflows that make large-scale threat intelligence data clear and actionable

Partner deeply with Engineering to ensure feasibility, quality implementation, and continuous iteration

Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions using direct access to an established customer base

Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Threat Research teams to understand friction points and improve usability

Help shift the organization from feature-led to experience-led through UX education and advocacy
