Responsibilities
Supervise and mentor a team of quality assurance technicians on 3rd shift, including training, performance feedback, and scheduling
Oversee in-process and finished product inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and federal regulations (e.g., FDA, USDA)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality supervision within a manufacturing environment
Prior food manufacturing experience required, with strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations
Ability to work independently during 3rd shift hours (typically 10 PM - 6 AM or similar, with potential for weekends/overtime)
Must be open to working 3rd shift full-time
Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment (cooler temperatures, wet areas, etc.)
