Fitness Program Supervisor

Responsibilities

Deliver fitness services and lead wellness programming with a focus on the Warrior Health & Fitness (WHF) Program
Oversee day-to-day WHF program delivery and ensure program quality
Support expansion efforts to additional locations
Work closely with strategic partners, the Military & Veterans Services Manager, and internal/external stakeholders
Lead planning meetings and coordinate program schedules
Indirectly oversee staff supporting WHF programming
Assist the Wellness Center Manager with staff training and performance feedback
Support other military and veteran health initiatives, community outreach, and wellness events or other projects as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Promotion or related field
CPR/AED Certification
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a healthcare-based or medically integrated fitness setting
Prior leadership, mentoring, or fitness program coordination experience required
Experience working with military, veteran, or special populations required
Strong knowledge of exercise science, anatomy, and physiology, including exercise prescription for special populations
Ability to design, implement, and evaluate individual and group fitness programs
Competency in post-rehabilitation protocols and Exercise is Medicine initiatives
Skill in conducting and interpreting fitness assessments, including body composition testing
Ability to deliver assisted stretching sessions and personalized training programs
Proficiency in creating and delivering health education presentations, including topics such as nutrition, mental well-being, and work-life balance
Ability to collect and analyze program data for outcomes measurement
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills to engage and motivate diverse participants
Strong organizational and time management skills, including scheduling and resource allocation
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with fitness software
Ability to enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, functional facility
