Director - Post Award & Restricted Fund Accounting
Henry Ford Health is actively searching for a Director, Post‑Award & Restricted Fund Accounting. In this role, you will provide enterprise‑level leadership and strategic oversight for all sponsored research financial administration, ensuring compliance with regulations and driving financial stewardship across the research enterprise.

Responsibilities
Provide enterprise‑level leadership and strategic oversight for all sponsored research financial administration at Henry Ford Health
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations
Drive financial stewardship across the research enterprise
Serve as a key strategic partner to Research Administration (RA), the Clinical Trials Office (CTO), Development, and other Henry Ford Health and Michigan State University partners
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or grants management, including significant leadership responsibility
Advanced knowledge of CFR Part 200 and federal grant regulations
Demonstrated expertise in restricted fund accounting, financial reporting, and compliance
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence across complex organizations
Preferred
Master's degree or CPA strongly preferred
Experience partnering with research administration, clinical trials offices, and development/philanthropy teams preferred
