Human Resources Business Partner Intern (Summer 2026)

Responsibilities
Assist the Lead HRBP AMER in implementing HR programs and initiatives aligned with business objectives
Support line managers through employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, performance management, and engagement programs
Conduct research and prepare reports on HR trends, policies, and best practices
Help coordinate training sessions, workshops, and employee development programs
Participate in HR data analysis and reporting to identify insights and opportunities for improvement
Provide administrative support for HR projects and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline. Senior-level students (final-year undergraduates nearing graduation) are strongly preferred
Ideally, prior experience in a corporate HR environment
Demonstrated interest in the energy sector and its dynamics
Strong passion for HR strategy and business partnering
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability and commitment to work on-site at our Houston office three days per week
Preferred
Familiarity with HR systems or tools (Workday, SAP, etc.)
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
