Responsibilities

Provide services to patients under the direct supervision
Prepare and position patients and select exposure factors accurately
Implement radiation protection and safety standards
Prepare for and assist the supervising technologists and physicians in a variety of imaging procedures
Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations
Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department

Qualification

Radiologic TechnologyBLS Provider CertificationPatient PositioningRadiation Safety StandardsTeamwork

Required

Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technology program
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline
