Responsibilities

Managing the Access, Experience, and Data Integrity Unit, which oversees access to care, member experience, and data integrity across Medi-Cal managed care delivery systems for EQR projects and activities
Ensuring the effective implementation and monitoring of protocols and analytic studies related to network adequacy, timely access, encounter data, and member experience
Managing the contract with the External Quality Review Organization (EQRO) as it relates to quality, timeliness, and access to care

Individuals who are currently in the classification, eligible for lateral transfer, eligible for reinstatement, have list or LEAP eligibility, are in the process of obtaining list eligibility, or have SROA and/or Surplus eligibility (please attach your letter, if available)
SROA and Surplus candidates are given priority; therefore, individuals with other eligibility may be considered in the event no SROA or Surplus candidates apply

Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s)

Preferred

Knowledge and experience with project management
Knowledge and experience working with health care or complex policy issues
Knowledge and experience working with high-level management at the Executive level of leadership
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to listen, observe, and draw accurate conclusions
Flexibility and willingness to learn from staff and management at all levels
Ability to delegate and track workload deliverables clearly
Ability to give and receive constructive feedback when appropriate
Leadership skills and the ability to recognize, accept, and encourage opportunities for collaboration and problem-solving amongst leadership, colleagues, and subordinate staff
