Business Development Representative (BDR) - Hybrid Role, NYC or Boston

Escape is a leader in AI-driven cybersecurity startup rapidly expanding across North America and Europe. They are seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to support their sales and marketing initiatives by conducting account research, developing marketing campaigns, and crafting effective messaging targeted at ideal customer profiles.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough research on target accounts to identify potential leads and understand their business needs
Write and develop compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with identified target accounts. Outbound with e-mail, LinkedIn, phone calls, etc
Craft clear and effective messaging tailored to specific target accounts, ensuring alignment with their needs and pain points
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine our ideal customer profile (ICP) based on insights gained from account research and buyer interactions
Demonstrate a strong understanding of business factors and buyer journeys across various industries to inform outreach strategies
Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align strategies, share insights, and drive lead generation efforts
Exhibit high energy, self-motivation, and resilience in pursuing leads and overcoming challenges
Stay informed about industry trends, particularly in security and artificial intelligence, to effectively engage prospects
Participate at cybersecurity industry events (BSides, RSA, DEF CON, etc) as an active part of the lead-generation team and a professional representation of Escape

Required

Previous experience in sales development or a related field is required
High level of organization and urgency in managing tasks and priorities

Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a team-oriented environment
A genuine interest in technology, particularly in the areas of security and AI
Able to work from NYC office 2-3 days per week
